Alaska and Beyond LLC is a very busy travel agency specializing in small ship expedition and luxury cruises around the world (Alaska and beyond) as well as river cruises in Europe, based right here in Belfast ME. I have clients from all over the country. I simply can no longer do everything and need an assistant! 

This person is very detail-oriented, organized, articulate, professional and customer-service oriented. Knows their way around a computer and programs- must have laptop. Good with numbers- you will be doing a lot of invoicing. Ideally this person has some travel agency background as well as travel experience. A fantastic opportunity for someone who just wants a part time job OR someone wanting to learn to be a specialized agent from a very successful agent of 43 years.
 

Hours are flexible; I am thinking a few hours a day/few days a week more or less depending on your schedule. More in the beginning to catch up. (This is an IC position.) I work a lot afternoons/evenings and weekends but that is up to you as I will be mostly be giving you tasks that can done on your schedule. 

I would like you to come to my home office at first to get us organized and train you on the various procedures and programs (it's overwhelming to even me and ever-changing!) However, an out of town person would possibly be considered as well. My current assistant had a tragic incident, and is in AZ, and that worked. (She also has a lot of experience in Alaska and cruising.) I miss her!
